At Bidules, we bring back to life unique glasses from the past, glasses from yesterday or from decades ago. Actually, age does not matter. We offer solid, nicely designed spectacles that really stand out.

We track down old stocks and pairs of iconic makes and models. We travel the world following the traces of legendary frame designers and manufacturers. We obsessively search through cellars and attics, and we secretly enter closed-down factories to find quality glasses worth preserving for future generations.

We check, repair, adapt, transform and refresh the pairs we find in order to bring you perfect new olds.

The family business still runs by the name of our grandfather Norbert Arnold who started the business back in 1934. Norbert Arnold opened his first workshop in Arlon and became the first generation of opticians in our family.

Grandson and fourth generation eyewear addict Nicolas has been surrounded by glasses all of his life. He grew up in a family where frames, lenses, temples, hinges and screws were part of almost every discussion. Shades are in Nicolas' DNA.

In a world where glasses have almost become a fast moving consumer product, Biduls wants to propose something radically different. Something true and everlasting. We focus on quality and craftsmanship. We preserve beauty from the past. We want to offer our customers truly unique shades.

Since Norbert Arnold started his 'opticien-spécialiste' business back in 1934, we have been studying and documenting the world's finest spectacle brands and manufacturers.

We have been working on thousands and thousands of frames, advising customers to find the perfect pair. Every screw, every hinge ever used in a pair of quality glasses has probably passed through our hands. We hope to be doing exactly the same for years to come.
