We remember very well when Fabian first showed up at the store. Quite intrigued by the ultrasonic cleaner, we put his watch in. In the meantime, we learnt about his passion for kilims and Iranian Kurdistan. A passion he pursues through Pardis Tapis, a project he co-founded. Needless to say that hearing how they travelled to the most remote villages in Iran on the lookout for vintage kilims, their stories and the legends surrounding them, directly connected us.
