Wendy

Wendy (Molenbeek, 1984) ; (, )

Wendy wears an unmarked demi-amber from our SOLO/Grosfilley stock we brought from Oyonnax (Ain) in 2020. Although its teardrop shape kind of has a 1980's vibe to it when the frame is worn low like that, its 3-rivet hinges and 'coque' shape make us think it has been made in the 60's or early 70's. Nice twist!

On collecting: she loves La Place du Jeu de Balle in the Marolles to collect what has been invading her apartment for a few years now: BOCH dishware. Especially the 'pastel' kind, made between 1955 and 1970.

After her porcelain digging sesh, a quick coffee at Le Chaff or the Libraire Météores is on the list. But as soon as Septembercomes and the leaves start to fall, it's the terrasse of the library Ici sont les lions that has her heart.

'L'utopie c'est d'être au travail' - a quote that translates her daily life working as co-director at the famously creative and collective ERG school in Brussels.
